TFE Hotels’ Vibe Hotel Canberra, has won the Brain & Poulter Award for Best Tourism and Leisure Development at The Property Council of Australia Innovation & Excellence Awards in Sydney on Friday night.
The judges noted the Vibe’s “modern innovative design, architectural quality and place-making potential”. The property was also praised for strengthening the international airport’s offerings.

Vibe Hotel Canberra took design inspiration from Walter Burley Griffin’s plans for the city and has won a host of architectural and interiors awards since its opening in late 2015.
The 191-room hotel includes 12 First Class rooms and 9 one and two-bedroom apartments, all centred around a unique soaring atrium, which is also host to the spacious and welcoming ground floor living lobby. Convenience is very much on the menu throughout the hotel, particularly at the onsite restaurant Helix Bar & Dining, a modern bistro offering a delectable menu inspired by local Australian produce.
